FIRMWARE CENTER
Built-in admin updates, automatic OTA, manual maintenance, and browser flashing fallback
The IRIS4 S3 remote includes a local network admin page. Routine updates should be completed from the device admin page first. For designated versions, use the OTA firmware center. If the admin page is unavailable or OTA is interrupted, use browser flashing to restore a bootable firmware.
Auto Check
Prompt stable updates when online and idle
Built-in Remote Admin OTA
After the S3 remote joins your home Wi-Fi, it shows a local IP address on screen. Open that address from a phone or computer on the same network to view version, network status, and OTA maintenance entries. In initial hotspot setup mode, you can try 192.168.4.1. See the user guide for the full flow.
Automatic OTA Rules
Automatic OTA is intended for routine stable updates. After the remote is online, it checks the version manifest and tries to prompt or run updates while the device is idle, powered reliably, and not in a shot workflow. Firmware packages are checked against the device model. After a successful upgrade, the device reboots and keeps local configuration.
Manual OTA Use Cases
When support assigns a specific version, a cross-version fix is needed, or you want to check firmware actively, open the OTA firmware center and choose the matching S3 remote or C3 shot-dosing chip package. S3 and C3 firmware are different; do not flash a package only because names look similar.
Browser Flashing Recovery
If Wi-Fi settings are damaged, OTA is interrupted, the admin page cannot be opened, or the device needs base firmware recovery, use the browser flashing entry to flash a bootable version over USB/serial. After recovery, return to device admin or firmware center for normal OTA.
