OTA firmware, browser flashing, and recovery paths for IRIS4 Micra accessories

IRIS4 firmware maintenance has three paths: the built-in remote admin page, the OTA firmware center, and browser flashing recovery. The right path depends on device state and whether you are updating S3 or C3 firmware.

Which OTA path should be used first?

For normal updates, use the S3 remote built-in admin page on the same local network. Use the firmware center when support assigns a version or when you need to inspect available packages. Use browser flashing when the admin page or OTA path is unavailable.

Why do S3 and C3 packages matter?

The S3 remote and C3 dosing chip are different devices with different firmware. A package name that looks similar is not enough. Confirm device type, version, and support notes before flashing.

What should be verified after an update?

After firmware maintenance, verify Wi-Fi, cloud binding, buttons, machine loading, Bluetooth scale pairing, shot timing, and target-yield behavior. Keep your order number if support needs logs or version history.

What is the safest IRIS4 firmware update path?

Firmware Maintenance Path

  1. Check current device model, firmware version, network state, and power stability.
  2. Use built-in admin OTA for normal stable updates.
  3. Use the firmware center only when choosing a known matching S3 or C3 package.
  4. Use browser flashing when OTA is interrupted or the admin page cannot be opened.
  5. Retest core functions before returning to daily espresso use.
